FOR PAOLA’S 48 BIRTH DAY ON EARTH

Paola always dreamed of recording an album.
Even though this didn’t manifest during her walk on Earth, thanks to the phone recordings she left (more than 80 songs), we were able to edit this first set of songs to make an album. The possibilities of editing voice notes were pretty limited. Some of these recordings were on the move, some of them had background noise, and some of them were very clean.
In one of the songs she left, she sings “en mi canto yo viviré”, which translates to say that in her music/voice/song she will live on.
The intention for the donations or sales of this album is to continue to edit other songs and perhaps incorporate other music or musicians, especially to those songs she composed herself, so we can continue to enjoy her music.
This process has taken a long time and energy, - specifically emotionally and financially. I’m very happy to be delivering this to you all on her 48th birthday with her updated virtual altar (www.kakawsana.com).
I want to thank and honor Mariana Abaroa for her service and support in putting the pieces together for this album and updating the website. I also want to thank Ricardo, the sound engineer for his work. Thank you to those who have motivated me to keep Paola’s legacy alive. And thank you all for your support and love!

Paola siempre soñó en grabar un álbum.
Aunque esto no se manifestó durante su caminar por la tierra, gracias a las grabaciones en su teléfono e (más de 80 canciones), pudimos editar este primer set de canciones para hacer un álbum. Las posibilidades de editar notas de voz son muy limitadas. Algunas de estas canciones fueron grabadas en movimiento, algunas tiene sonidos de fondo, y otras eran muy limpias.
En una de estas grabaciones, ella dice “en mi canto yo viviré”. Es por eso que la intención de las ventas o donaciones de este álbum es para continuar editando canciones e incorporar música o músicos, especialmente a las canciones que ella compuso, y así poder disfrutar de su música.
Este proceso a tomado mucho tiempo y energía - específicamente emocional y financiera. Estoy muy contento de poder entregarles esto a ustedes en su cumpleaños 48 con su altar virtual (www.kakawsana.com).
Quiero agradecer y honrar a Mariana Abaroa por su servicio y apoyo poniendo las piezas en su lugar para este álbum y actualizando el sitio web. Quiero agradecer a Ricardo, el ingeniero de sonido por su trabajo. Gracias a todos aquellos que me motivaron a mantener vivo el legado de Paola. Y gracias a todos por su apoyo y amor.
